Okay so you’ve booked your intimate boudoir experience…now what?
If you’re like me, you wanna know what the process is gonna be like! Every boudoir photographer is different, and I want to walk you through the experience step by step so you feel prepared & ready to go.
Step 1: Your Mindset Guide!
The first thing you’ll receive in your inbox after booking your session is a Mindset guide! This is an important part of the boudoir experience because it goes over exactly how to prepare AND helps you with your mindset regarding your body image. The mental prep section is the most important (and sustainable way) to get the most out of your experience.
Step 2: Lingerie Guide
While I do provide and extensive client closet for you to use (sizes from XS-5X)! I know that sometimes you wanna treat yourself to a new piece(s) before your shoot. I include a lingerie guide that features ethical & sustainable companies. Those values are super important to me, and I update it seasonally for all of my clients & everyone on my email list!
Step 4: Week Before Prep
The week before your shoot I will be in touch, with a timeline of the session day & info on your reveal. I truly believe mental, physical and emotional prep all set you up for an amazing boudoir experience – so I guide you every step of the way. This is my job, and I have worked with many, many people. So don’t feel like you need to know what you’re doing – I’m with you every step of the way!
Step 5: Your Shoot Day!!!
It’s the day you’ve been waiting for!!! You’ll wake up excited and head over to Kirsty’s studio for hair and makeup. After you’re all glammed up and feeling FINNNEEE, you’ll head over to my studio! It’s a private session and I will guide you every step of the way. From picking lingerie to moving through poses, facial expressions, and yes, what to do with your hands!!! Also, I will hype you up during the entire shoot because I literally can’t help it!! I love watching ya’ll take time for yourself and ACTION towards self-love!
Step 6: Reveal Day
It’s been a couple weeks since your big day, now it’s time for your reveal day! You’ll come back to the studio (or we can meet over Zoom!) and you’ll get to see your magical self!! This is one of my FAV moments of the whole boudoir experience. Once you decide which photos & products you’d like, I will get your order placed and the products will be in your hands soon!

Step 7: Enjoy Your Images Forever <3
Not only will be you be able to refer back to how you felt during your session, you’ll always have a physical reminder of how beautiful you are. There will be bad days (this journey is not linear!), and you’ll be able to open your album or leather envelope and be reminded of how worthy you are of self-love.
